The objectives of the morning and afternoon activities are to
- support the educational efforts of both home and school
- promote the child’s emotional development and ethical growth
- enhance the well-being of children and promote equality among them
- prevent social exclusion and strengthen participation
- provide children with diverse opportunities to take part in guided and recreational activities
- ensure rest in a calm environment under the supervision of a qualified and suitable professional.
According to the Basic Education Act, morning and afternoon activities are intended for students in grades 1 and 2, as well as for students from other grades who have been placed in or transferred to special education.
In Siikalatva, activities are organized in the mornings from 7:00 AM until the start of school, and in the afternoons from the end of the school day until 4:30 PM.
The activity fee is 100€ per month.
If a child participates in the activities 10 days or fewer per month, the fee is 5€ per day.
